Note that if REMOTE_USER doesn’t exist yet or isn’t currently registered with Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), then Windows 10 will create a new account for you called RDP-Tcpip21\RDP-Tcpip21 for this session only – don’t try connecting remotely again until after these initial configuration steps are complete!
Once connected, Logon as User ‘RDP-Tcpip21’ with Password ‘PASSWORD’. You should now be able to see all of the files residing on the remote computer! You may also be able to run programs located on %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion folder remotely just by typing their full pathnames into Notepad or PowerShell Window as if they were located locally!

Notice how I was able to type msconfig atrilpath into PowerShell Window without having previously installed Atril Deployment Toolkit onto my workstation? That’s because everything under %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion is available to me remotely!
