A very popular method for streaming audio from a phone to pc is Bluetooth. Bluetooth is a low-power radio technology used to transmit data between devices over short distances. Bluetooth is widely used in headphones, headsets, speakers, and other audio devices.

Check if your phone and computer have Bluetooth

To see if your phone and computer have Bluetooth, find the Bluetooth button on each device. For most computers, it’s in the lower-right corner of the screen. On some keyboards, you may need to press the Fn key to enable Bluetooth.

On a Windows 10 PC:

1. Select the Start button, then select Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
2. Turn on Bluetooth so your PC can discover nearby devices.
3. Select Add Bluetooth or other device > Bluetooth.
4. Your PC should start scanning for devices and will show them in this list if they’re nearby and turned on with Bluetooth turned on. If you don’t see your device listed, try these steps:

• If you’re using a USB dongle or adapter, unplug it, then plug it back in again.
• Restart your PC, then check that your phone is still paired with your PC. On an iPhone:

1. Open Settings and tap Bluetooth near the top of the screen. If you don’t see “Bluetooth,” tap Edit (on some phones) in the upper-right corner of the screen, then tap the plus sign next to “Bluetooth.” 2. Tap the switch next to “Bluetooth” so that it turns green (indicating that it’s on). 3. Look under “Paired devices” or “Other devices” to find nearby devices that you can pair with.”
   Make sure Bluetooth is turned on and visible on both devices

Before you can connect two devices via Bluetooth, you’ll need to make sure that Bluetooth is turned on and visible on both devices. To do this, you’ll typically find a Bluetooth button or menu somewhere in the Settings menu of each device.

Once Bluetooth is turned on, you can start connecting devices. To do this, you’ll usually need to put each device into “pairing mode.” This is typically done by going into the Settings menu of each device and finding theBluetooth menu. In this menu, you should see an option to put the device into pairing mode.

Once both devices are in pairing mode, they should be able to find each other and connect automatically. If they don’t connect automatically, you may need to select the devices from a list of available Bluetooth devices on each device.

Pair your devices

Before you can use Bluetooth, you need to pair your phone and PC. To do this, your PC will need to have Bluetooth.

1. On your PC, select Start > Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices. If you don’t see “Bluetooth & other devices” listed, type manage bluetooth devices in the search box to open it.
2. Turn on Bluetooth > select the device you want to pair > select Pair. You might need to enter a passkey or confirmation. Follow any on-screen instructions.
   AirPlay
   AirPlay is a proprietary protocol stack/suite developed by Apple Inc. that allows wireless streaming between devices of audio, video, device screens, and photos, together with related metadata. Originally implemented only in Apple’s software and devices, it was called AirTunes and used for audio only.
   Check if your phone and computer have AirPlay
   
   Before you can use AirPlay, check that both your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch and your Mac or PC are on the same Wi-Fi network. If you don’t see the AirPlay icon, make sure that your devices are turned on and within range of each other.

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
Open Control Center, then tap . If you don’t see , swipe up from the bottom edge of your screen.
Tap your computer name under AirPlay.

On your Mac:
Open the AirPlay menu in the menu bar, then choose your computer name.

On your PC:
Open the Action Center , then select Connect > Project > Add a wireless display. If you don’t see , select Expand to see all available options.

Make sure AirPlay is turned on both devices

If you want to stream audio from your phone to your PC, you’ll need to make sure AirPlay is turned on both devices. On your PC, open the Control Panel and go to Devices and Printers. Select your speaker from the list of AirPlay-enabled devices and make sure the volume is turned up. On your phone, open the AirPlay settings and select your PC from the list of available devices.

Connect your devices

Now that you have an idea of what AirPlay 2 is, how do you actually use it? The first step is to make sure that all of your devices are compatible. If you have any Apple TVs running tvOS 11.4 or later, they will work with AirPlay 2.
