5. To crop or resize your custom gamerpic, select it then select the pen icon that appears over it, crop as desired, then select Done.

   There are a few ways to change your Xbox One gamerpic, and we’ll cover two methods here. The first way is to use a pre-made gamerpic from Microsoft’s website, and the second way is to upload a custom image from your computer.

To use a pre-made gamerpic, head to the Xbox One dashboard and navigate to the Profile tab. On the Profile tab, select “Customize profile,” then “Change gamertag.” On the next screen, select your gamertag in the upper-left corner, then “Customize.”

On the next screen, select “Choose a gamerpic,” then scroll through the list of available pre-made options and select the one you want to use. If you see an image you like but it’s not labeled as a gamerpic, you can select it and crop it to fit within the gamerpic Guidelines (explained below).

To upload a custom image from your computer, head to Xbox.com and sign in with your Microsoft account. Once you’re signed in, hover over your gamertag in the upper-right corner of the screen and select “Change gamertag” from the drop-down menu.

On the next screen, select “Choose a new gamertag,” then scroll down and click “Upload a new picture” under Customization Options. Choose an image file from your computer that meets the Xbox One gamerpic Guidelines (explained below), then click “Open.” Once your image has been uploaded, you can crop it or zoom in or out using the controls on the screen. When you’re satisfied with how your new gamerpic looks, click “Apply changes.”
