Forza Motorsport 6: Apex
Forza Motorsport 6: Apex is a free-to-play racing video game developed by Turn 10 Studios and published by Microsoft Studios for Windows 10. The game was announced on January 5, 2016, during the Xbox Spring Showcase event and was released as an open beta on May 5, 2016. It is the first Forza Motorsport title for Windows 10.
The game features over 60 cars at launch, with more to be added in future updates, and seven tracks set in locations around the world, including Silverstone Circuit in the United Kingdom, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, and Watkins Glen International in the United States. Players can race against AI opponents or up to twelve other players in multiplayer races. The game also features both wheel and controller support.
Apex introduces a new mode called “Spotlight Series”, which will feature special themed events that will rotate every week. The first Spotlight Series event is the Nürburgring Invitational, which tasks players with setting fast lap times on the Nordschleife section of the Nürburgring race track. Successful completion of these events will unlock in-game rewards such as credits (the game’s currency), cars, and driver gear.

The game features over 700 cars and 200 different configurations to race on across 32 locations at launch, including all from Forza Horizon 3 and Forza Motorsport 6. The game also includes dynamic weather and time of day physics-based effects.
