The Dell XPS 13 9360 is one of the best laptops you can buy. It’s got a great design, a brilliant screen and long battery life.
You’d be forgiven for thinking that the XPS 13 was a MacBook Air clone when you first saw it. It’s got the same slimline form factor and unibody aluminium chassis. But there are enough differences to set it apart, including a much smaller bezel around the display. That means that Dell has managed to fit a 13.3-inch display into a body that’s only slightly larger than an 11-inch laptop.
It’s not just the small bezel that makes the XPS 13 look good. The entire laptop is well put together, with few visible seams and a solid construction that exudes quality. The only disappointment is the lack of color options – you can have it in either silver or black.
When it comes to ports, the XPS 13 is very well equipped. On the left side there’s two Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports, while on the right there’s a headphone jack and a microSD card reader.
The display is one area where the Dell XPS 13 shines. It is a full HD panel with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 and a pixel density of 157 PPI. The display is crisp, clear, and bright, and colours are accurately represented. Contrast levels are good as well, and black levels are deep. Viewing angles are wide too, so you won’t have any issues when watching movies or working on creative projects.
The Dell XPS 13 comes with two Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports on the left side, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD card reader. On the right side, there’s another Thunderbolt 3 port, a USB-A 3.0 port and a Noble lock slot.
Keyboard and Touchpad
The dell xps 13 model 9360 has a backlit keyboard that is comfortable to type on. The keys are well spaced and have a good travel. The keyboard is also spill resistant, which is a nice feature. The touchpad is large and responsive. It supports Windows Precision drivers and has a good feel to it.
The Dell XPS 13 comes with two built-in speakers, which are located on the bottom of the laptop. The audio quality is good, but not great. The sound is clear and loud enough to fill a small room, but it lacks bass and can sound tinny at higher volumes. If you’re looking for a laptop with great audio, the Dell XPS 13 is not the best option.
The Dell XPS 13 model 9360 is a high performance laptop that is ideal for use by students and professionals alike. The laptop is equipped with a Intel Core i7-8550U processor, 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 256GB SSD. The Dell XPS 13 model 9360 also features a 15.6-inch FHD IPS InfinityEdge display, two Thunderbolt 3 ports, a backlit keyboard, and an estimated battery life of up to 15 hours.
The Dell XPS 13 model 9360 has great battery life. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and I’m averaging about 7 hours of use before needing to recharge. This is with the screen brightness set to about 75%. If you need more battery life, you can always turn the screen brightness down or use power saving mode.
The Dell XPS 13 is one of the best laptops you can buy. It’s got a great screen, long battery life, a comfortable keyboard and trackpad, and it’s thin and light.
The only downsides are that it’s a bit expensive, and that it’s not available with a 4K screen. But if you can live without those things, the Dell XPS 13 is an excellent choice.
