How to change your background on Xbox One

There are a few ways that you can change your background on Xbox One. You can either use a custom image or one of the default images that are available on the Xbox One. You can also change your background by using your own personal photos.

Find the perfect background

From the main dashboard, go to settings

Select Personalization

Under My personalization, select My background

Choose a new background

How to upload a custom background

You can now upload any image you want as your background on Xbox One. All you need is a USB drive with the image file saved to it.

Here’s how to do it:

1. Copy the image file to your USB drive.
2. Insert the USB drive into your Xbox One.
3. Go to Settings > Personalization > My Color & Background and select the USB drive as your background source.
4. Select the image you want to use as your background and press A to confirm.

   You can easily change your background on Xbox One to make it more personal. By default, the background is set to a dynamic screenshot of whatever game you were last playing. However, there are many other backgrounds to choose from, including a selection of pre-loaded art and images from Xbox Live, your own personal images, and preset avatars.

To change your background on Xbox One:

1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Personalization > My color & background > Background.
4. Select a new background from the options provided, or select Browse for additional options.

   Your background on Xbox One can be a custom image or achievement art. To change your background, go to Settings> Personalization, then select My background.

Here are some tips for finding the perfectbackground:
-Choose an image that’s at least 1080p and no larger than 4MB.
-For the best results on your Xbox One console, use a USB flash drive that’s formatted as NTFS.
-To select multiple images at once, press and hold the left bumper while you select each additional image.

How to upload a custom background

You can now upload any image from your Xbox One to be used as your background. To do this, simply go to the Settings app, then Personalization, then Background. From there, you can either choose one of Microsoft’s images, or select “Custom image” and upload one from your console. You can choose any image that’s stored on your Xbox One, including screenshots, game clips, and pictures captured with Kinect.

To change your background on Xbox One:

1. Go to the Settings app.
2. Select Personalization.
3. Select Background.
4. Select Custom image and choose the image you want to use as your background.

2. Select Settings > Personalization, and then select My background.

4. To return to the previous menu, press the B button on your controller.
