January
In January, players can expect new releases for popular franchises such as Gears of War, Resident Evil, and Naruto. MonoGame 3.3 will also be released, bringing updates to the game engine that will improve compatibility with Linux, Android, and iOS platforms. And finally, The Division’s first expansion, Underground, will be released on Xbox One.
The Division
The Division, an open-world RPG set in New York City during the aftermath of a viral pandemic, is the latest game from Ubisoft. The Division features a compelling story, realistic graphics, and exciting gameplay. The game is set to release on January 12, 2016.

Capcom’s prequel to the Resident Evil series finally comes to current generation consoles. Resident Evil 0 originally released on the Nintendo GameCube in 2002, and follows STARS operative Rebecca Chambers as she becomes stranded with convict Billy Coen. The two must work together to escape the nightmarish Spencer Mansion, and discover the truth behind the outbreak.
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is an action-packed game that will keep you entertained for hours on end. The game was released on January 26, 2016, and is available for Xbox One.
February
In February we got a few different Xbox One releases. The biggest releases were Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 and Firewatch. February also brought us a few different Indie titles like Divekick Addition Edition and Assault Android Cactus.
Firewatch
Firewatch is a first-person mystery set in the Wyoming wilderness, where your only emotional lifeline is the person on the other end of a handheld radio.
The year is 1989. You are a firefighter tasked with watching over the wilderness in Shoshone National Forest. Between answering fire calls, you explore an open world full of puzzles to solve and wildlife to discover, all while trying to uncover the truth behind strange occurrences happening in the area.
Firewatch is an adventure game from Campo Santo, coming to PC and PlayStation 4 on February 9th, 2016.
Far Cry Primal
Far Cry Primal is a first-person shooter video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It was released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows in February 2016. The game is set in the Stone Age period and revolves around the story of Takkar, who starts off as an unarmed hunter and rises to become the leader of his tribe.
The game features several new mechanics not seen in previous Far Cry games, such as the ability to tame animals and use them as allies, as well as a new crafting system which allows the player to create weapons and tools.
Gears of War: Ultimate Edition
Gears of War: Ultimate Edition is a remastering of the first Gears of War videogame in 1080p. It features an improved singleplayer campaign with new cutscenes, and a newly playable prologue and epilogue. The game also includes 5 multiplayer modes including Team Deathmatch, King of the Hill, and Blitz.

Hitman is an action-adventure stealth video game developed by IO Interactive and published by Square Enix. It is the sixth entry in the Hitman series, and was released on March 11, 2016, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game is set after the events of Absolution.
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is a third-person shooter video game developed by PopCap Games and published by Electronic Arts. It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 23, 2016.
The game is a sequel to the 2014 title Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare. Unlike its predecessor, which was a multiplayer-only shooter, Garden Warfare 2 features both a cooperative and competitive multiplayer mode, as well as a single-player campaign.
The game’s story takes place in Suburbia, where the plants and zombies are engaged in an ongoing conflict. The zombies have taken over Suburbia, and the plants must fight to take it back. The game features several new plant and zombie classes, which each have their own abilities.

Homefront: The Revolution is a first-person shooter video game developed by Dambuster Studios and published by Deep Silver. It was released in May 2016 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
The game is set in an alternate history scenario where the Korean People’s Army has invaded and occupied the United States. The player controls Ethan Brady, a resistance fighter who must liberating the occupying forces and taking back control of America.
The game received mixed reviews from critics, with praise for its open world design and clever use of the alternate history setting, but criticism for its poorly implemented stealth mechanics and technical issues.
